Write a Letter to the Editor
Families USA released its Texas portion of Americans at Risk: One in Three Uninsured report today. Key findings from the report include:
- Over 43.9% – two out of five – Texans under the age of 65 went without health insurance for all or part of the two-year period 2007-2008.
- Most uninsured Texans are members of working families.
- Of the 9.3 million uninsured Texans, over three-quarters went without health coverage for six months or longer during this period.
