November 14th Rally for Health Reform at the Texas Capitol!
Health Care Can’t Wait!
When: 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, November 14, 2009.
Where: South Side of the Texas Capitol, 1100 Congress Ave., in downtown Austin. Free parking available at Capitol Visitors’ Parking Garage located at 1201 San Jacinto (12th & San Jacinto – one block east of the Capitol).
Why: This is it – the decisive moment on historic health care reform legislation. Let’s send a strong message that Texans want decent health care for all Americans and we want it now! Come to the Health Care Can’t Wait Rally to show support and make some noise for meaningful health care reform. Speakers include State Reps. Garnet Coleman and Elliott Naishtat. Moderator: Linda Chavez-Thompson. There will also be free music, food, and refreshments!
